Physics: today we discussed WS#2, and then did some more practice problems on converting position-time graphs to velocity-time graphs, and vice-versa. Tomorrow we have a quiz on analyzing position-time and velocity-time graphs.

AP Chemistry: We began talking about Chapter 5 today. As for upcoming events, we have a pre-lab write up for "Molar Mass of a Volatile Liquid Lab" due Monday, Chapter 5 Quiz on Tuesday, Analysis of Alum Lab due on Wednesday, and the Unit 2 Exam next Thursday.

So far, things have been going really well. Scores are looking good, and students are really working hard. While we still have a long way to go, I am very pleased with the quick progress students are making at this difficult level of learning. I hope that everyone settles in for the material we get to that is no longer mainly review of last year.

Chemistry: We started Unit 2 today. We looked at the diffusion of particles in both gases and liquids, and then did particle diagrams for each. Tomorrow we will white board diagrams and discuss student ideas about particle interactions.

We had a unit exam yesterday. Scores were fantastic for the first exam, and I am very excited to see what happens as we move forward.

Physical Science: Today we had an in-class activity looking at the relationship between circumference and diameter of a circle. This is a continuation of our graphing methods topics. The assignment for tomorrow is to complete the graph for this activity, find the slope and y-intercept, and then answer all of the follow-up questions.
